Terms
Terms of sale.
These terms apply when you buy a pack from knack.run. By completing checkout you accept them.
Last updated 2 May 2026.
1. Who you're contracting with
Your contract for the pack itself is with Knack ("we", "us"), a UK sole
trader publishing at knack.run. Your contract for payment is with our Merchant of Record, Polar, who issues the receipt and handles VAT and other applicable taxes.
Polar's terms apply to the payment transaction.
2. What you get
A digital pack — a downloadable archive containing skills, slash commands, agent definitions, MCP configurations, templates and worked examples for Anthropic's Claude Code — together with a unique licence key. The pack catalogue page lists exactly what is included.
We grant you a non-transferable, non-sublicensable, perpetual licence to
install and use the pack on your own machines for your own work. The full
licence text ships inside the pack as LICENCE.md. Where the pack licence and these terms conflict for use of the pack
itself, the pack licence wins.
3. Price and payment
Prices are shown on each pack page and confirmed on the Polar checkout in your local currency. The total includes any applicable VAT or sales tax, which Polar calculates and remits on our behalf based on your billing location.
Payment is taken in full at checkout. We do not offer payment plans or invoiced terms.
4. Delivery
Delivery is digital and immediate. After payment is confirmed, you receive an email containing a download link and your licence key, typically inside one minute. If it doesn't arrive within 30 minutes (and isn't in your spam folder), email [email protected] with your Polar order ID.
5. Updates
Updates to a pack are included for the lifetime of that pack. When a new version ships you'll receive an email at the address you bought with, with download instructions. Your licence key carries forward; no further payment is due.
We do not commit to a release schedule. "Lifetime" means the practical life of the pack as a maintained product. If we ever decide to retire a pack, active buyers will be notified at least 90 days in advance and the last published version remains yours to keep and use.
6. Refunds
14 days, no questions. Full details on the refund policy page. Your statutory rights as a UK consumer are not affected.
Because the pack is digital content delivered immediately, you waive the 14-day statutory right to cancel under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 at checkout in exchange for instant access. Our voluntary 14-day no-questions policy gives you the same protection in practice.
7. Acceptable use
You may not:
- resell, sublicense, or distribute the pack or any substantial portion of it,
- publish the pack contents on a public repository or marketplace,
- remove or obscure copyright, licence or attribution notices contained inside the pack,
- use the pack to build or train any model, dataset or product that replicates or substitutes for the pack itself.
You may freely use the pack to do client work, build products, write content, and run your business.
8. Intellectual property
We retain all intellectual property rights in the packs, the website, the Knack name and logos, and any content we publish. Your purchase grants you the licence described above; it does not transfer ownership of any underlying IP.
Content you produce by using a pack — proposals, posts, documents, software — is yours. We claim no rights in it.
9. Warranty
We warrant that the pack will be substantially as described on its catalogue page on the date of purchase. If it isn't, tell us and we will either fix it or refund you.
Beyond that, the pack is provided "as is". We make no warranty that the pack will meet your specific requirements, be uninterrupted, or be error-free, beyond what is implied by UK consumer law.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law (including any non-excludable rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015).
Subject to that, our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with the pack is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, or data.
11. Termination
Your licence terminates automatically if you materially breach these terms (for example, by reselling the pack). On termination you must stop using the pack and delete any copies. Refunds within the 14-day window are not affected by this clause.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, save that consumers resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom retain the right to bring proceedings in their local courts.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase; later changes do not retroactively alter your existing licence. The "last updated" date at the top of this page is the source of truth.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms: [email protected]. Contract notices and legal correspondence should also use that address.
